Under Construction

Off the clock, still on the trail.

Every route has scenery you don't put in the case study. Here's some of what's off to the side of mine, one stop at a time.

Where it all started

I grew up in New England, an artistic kid in a bubble of sports and outdoor activities. I learned to love all three, but my early years were mostly spent sketching, reading comics, and filming home movies with my twin brother, now an engineer at Amazon.

Heading West

I made my way west for art school in San Francisco, where I met my wife. I bounced around the Bay Area working for startups before eventually making my way down to Los Angeles for jobs at Myspace and the NFL.

Making time for hobbies

I enjoy traveling (doesn't everyone?), but for me it's about finding a secluded spot or getting mixed up in the history, culture, or cuisine of a place. I love the game and the business of sports, and making things with whatever tools are at my disposal. I'm always down for trivia, escape rooms, movie scores, or movie nights.

Where I call home

I live in a small town between the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra Mountains. I somehow ended up on a ranch with livestock, surrounded by orchards, far from everything and close to nothing. It's my design retreat, and it's let me form a deeper relationship with my craft. But this is only truly basecamp because of my amazing wife and kids 🙂

What lies ahead

Well, I wasn't expecting a chance encounter with you. I'm glad you found something interesting on my portfolio, or just wanted to see what was at the end! Either way, thanks for making this a stop along your busy day. If you want to chat, let's connect.
